Facial Hair Lightening
Unwanted facial hair can be aesthetically bothersome. While laser hair removal is the most effective treatment for hair removal, it may not be effective on fine hairs. Laser hair removal on fine hairs may even lead to increased hair growth. Needle epilation is used for fine hairs, but it is very painful and carries the risk of leaving marks.
The process of lightening hair with laser treatment is performed with Q-switched ND-YAG laser. This procedure lightens the color of the hairs, making them less visible. The treatment can be done even in the summer months. Yellowing of the hairs is immediately visible after the procedure, but it is not permanent. It returns to its original state after approximately 6 weeks. Sun protection is recommended for 1 week after the procedure. It is a reliable procedure and does not cause discoloration.
